Responsibilities of the Financial Systems Analyst:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize financial data effectively and facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, hours, timekeeping & receipts, to provide insights into the firm's financial performance.

• Conduct daily reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management or other stakeholders to support decision-making processes.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial reporting and analysis, incorporating new methodologies and tools to enhance reporting processes.

Preferred Skills of the Financial Systems Analyst:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and best data visualization practices.
• Prior experience with financial analysis.
• Experienced with Office 365 applications and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills of the Financial Systems Analyst:

• Experience within the legal industry or professional services sector.
• Developing and maintaining SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
• Experience creating SQL queries, stored procedures, and table joins.
