Social Media Coordinator position.
Essential Duties
Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.Support the creation and curation of engaging content for social media channels, including graphics, videos, and written posts.Help manage day-to-day activities on social media platforms, including scheduling and publishing content, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.Stay informed about social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to contribute ideas for new strategies and tactics.Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing goals and campaigns.Assist in analyzing social media metrics and performance to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Learn to manage social media advertising campaigns, including assisting with budgeting, targeting, and performance monitoring.Participate in cultivating relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other partners to expand our brand reach and engagement.Support the development of social media policies, guidelines, and best practices to maintain brand consistency and integrity across all channels.Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing projects as needed.Skills and Duties
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint) and Canva.Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evening and weekend eventsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or currently pursuing).1-2 Years of previous social media content development and posting experience preferred.
