Job Title: Temporary - Inventory Coordinator

Reports to: Inventory Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Department: Construction

Summary:

Position is necessary to control costs and ensure availability of materials and equipment for fiber construction and installs. The Inventory Coordinator will also maintain inventory, order and supply necessary equipment, while also maintaining accurate records.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, and mandatory safety training.
• Daily receiving and issuing of material for Vexus Construction and Install Projects
• Responsible for tracking issued equipment and reconciling inventory up to daily
• Develops and manages process for equipment maintenance and parts replacement.
• Schedules and performs or arranges for completion of required and recommended maintenance for all equipment.
• Prepares and distributes an equipment replacement budget; collaborates with facility manager to identify priorities and desired upgrades.
• Perform Monthly physical inventory audits.
• Some regional travel may be required
• Able to communicate with contractors
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Repackage materials and repalletize as needed
• Operate class 1, 4, 5, 7 forklift safely in execution of yard and BOM management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with contractors.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of moving equipment used in the warehouse.
• Basic understanding of procedures and policies used in the warehouse.
• Math and reading skills required to understand manuals and prepare reports or budgets.
• Basic knowledge of all applicable state and federal OSHA and other related laws and regulations concerning operators and maintenance, inspection, and operation of equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to manage inventory via systems
• Keyboarding Skills

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain or possess certificates of operation required to meet state and OSHA regulations for forklift operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, prolonged sitting while operating a forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and construction yard and reach items both high and low.
• Be able to wear composite toe or better shoes for duration of shift
