Description
Responsible for performing a variety of bookkeeping / accounting duties and assistance to supervisor. Also performs account reconciliation's for Providence Seward Medical Center. Assures accurate and timely preparation of check requests and the issuance of patient refunds. Participates in other Finance related functions as assigned. Assists the business office, health information and finance departments ensuring a timely flow of information is accessible. The Business Office provides accounting, patient registration, billing, and collection services for the Providence Seward Medical Center and Providence Seward Mountain Haven.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, core business hours, 40 hours per week.
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
Successful completion of a minimum of six college credit hours of accounting
2 years related general ledger and accounts payable experience, including experience with account reconciliations, spreadsheets and journal entries
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting
