Performs the duties of a police officer for Benedict College by enforcing State criminal and traffic laws, policies, rules and regulations of the College. Protects persons and property while enforcing the rules and regulations of Benedict College.
QUALIFICATIONS: This is a certified police position therefore you:
Must be 21 years of age, high school graduate, (Associates Degree preferred), Class 1 or 3 LEO Certification and no criminal history.
Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license with no history of DUI within the last 10 years. Must be able to pass the requirements of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy Basic Law Enforcement certification.
Prior or current law enforcement welcomed.
SALARY: $38,000 - $41,000
Commensurate with experience and/or education.
