Staff Electric is currently seeking a Site Safety & Health Specialist for our projects located in the greater Milwaukee area. We prefer a candidate with 3-5 years of safety experience on construction sites. The Site Safety & Health Specialist ensure safe work practices on construction sites. The position serves as safety expert to Field Leadership and act as a safety champion for our Field Employees.

Some duties and responsibilities include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor/Audit construction sites ensuring safe construction practices
• Conduct post-accident investigations
• Provide safety training
• Develop, review, and & maintain safety policies
• Conduct ergonomic reviews
• Knowledge and administration of OSHA 10 & 30 and NFPA 70E
• Provide lift training
• Facilitate alcohol and drug Testing for Cause, Post-Accident, or Reasonable Suspicion

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• 3-5 years of Safety experience on a construction site preferred
• Undergraduate degree in Occupational Safety and Health/related field of study desired or related practical experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
• Reasoning skills in order to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment, and be skilled using MS Office software including but not limited to Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, etc.
