VCA University Animal Hospital is looking for a Client Service Representative (experience preferred, but not required) who enjoys providing a high-quality client experience for our pet parents, and seeks to be a part of a team that feels like a family.

VCA University Animal Hospital is a 4-doctor General Practice wellness hospital nestled in the heart of Manoa Valley, a beautiful bedroom community on the outskirts of Honolulu, Hawaii. We are able to offer any new team member a strong medical bench of experience and support from our doctors and staff.

We are looking for an amazing individual who is excited to work a Full-time schedule with a wonderful and supportive team that strives to provide quality wellness medical care to some pretty amazing pets! The schedule includes a 4-day work week and we are closed for major holidays! We are open from 8a to 7p, 7 days/week, except for VCA-observed holidays.

**Compensation:** $19 / hr. Pay negotiable dependent on experience and education.

**Why We Need You**

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

Scheduling and confirming appointments.

Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.

Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.

Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.

Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).

Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.

Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all timesboth inside and outside.
