Value Added Distributors, LLC is looking for a driven, hardworking, and enthusiastic Manufacturing/Production Branch Manager to join our team of experts in custom hose building at our Chambersburg, PA location. This position is full-time and reports to the General manager and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing multiple functional areas. This position ensures the delivery of products to internal and external customers. The Branch Manager will determine the various unit structures and allocate essential resources, along with participating in strategic planning for their respective region. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or 7:00am to 4:00pm, Day-Shift

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a culture of sense of urgency and disciplined adherence to support customer quality and delivery expectations while achieving profitability targets.
  • Embrace the Continuous Improvement activities and promote employee empowerment, while working to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Work with Sales Manager to design and implement a marketing strategy containing measurable goals.
  • Monitor customer accounts and review margins.
  • Overseeing the assembly of orders and preparing goods for shipment, recording shipment data.
  • Data entry and database management.
  • Overseeing customer purchase Orders.
  • Manage the performance of branch operations.
  • Build effective working relationships with customers, direct reports, peers, managers, vendors, etc.
  • Responsible either directly or indirectly for the procuring of materials, supplies, or any other items necessary for the daily operation.
  • Ability to achieve and exceed production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Manufacturing knowledge (Fluid Power/Industrial Sales) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the Value Added Sales model is a plus
  • Current sales affiliation in the market is a plus.
  • Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of order processing and business/office documentation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing facilities is preferred.
