This is a part-time position. Hours are 5-10 per week, with additional hours available at the Member Services Desk if requested.
Hours available:
Saturday and Sunday 11:00 - 6:00pm
Salary: $14 an hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. To further the mission of the YMCA through servicing building & facility rentals by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining overall building and property security and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee use of building and facilities for Rentals during non-business hours. This includes but is not limited to Birthday Parties, Open Houses, Pavilion Rentals, Pool Rentals, and more.
a. Provide proper set-up for each rental, ensuring all amenities are in place and available for the rental group
b. Ensure proper payment and agreements have been signed prior to rental starting via Daxko Operations
c. Monitor the rental throughout rented times, provide assistance and ensure satisfaction
d. Perform tear down for each rental, ensuring cleanliness and proper replacement of amenities
2. Set standard and provide exemplary member relationship building and member experience skills during rentals.
3. Take inventory or rental supplies and resources after each rental. Notify Member Services Coordinator or any needing replacement.
4. Communicate any pertinent post-rental follow-up, including but not limited to; damages, failure of rental to follow policies, reasons to not rent to the party again.
5. Follow emergency procedures and safety precautions. Follow procedures for reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards.
6. Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations as outlined in employee handbook and other communications. Obtain and maintain required training(s).
7. Accept additional assignments as deemed appropriate, within the scope of the job description.
Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Minimum age 18 preferred.
•Previous supervisory experience preferred.
•1 year customer service experience required.
•Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire. Training provided on site.
