Job summary: Responsible for maintaining high standards of presentation in the guestroom mini bars, ensuring product is promptly replaced and properly charged to guest accounts, thus ensuring revenue is collected. Responsibilities
Contribute positively to the team within the department
Prepare for any/all guest requests
Participate in on-going training
Comply with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards as required by scheduling which will vary dependent upon the hotel's needs.
Display working knowledge off all menu items and prices
Complete side work as assigned
Stock minibar cart at the end of the day (before each shift)
Charge guests accordingly in hotel's property management system (StayNTouch)
Maintain and organize minibar storage room.
Maintain inventory and report to supervisor
Meet AAA standards and procedure
Attend required meetings
Keep work areas clean and organized
Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions
Communicate with team members by receiving tasks that need to be completed and assigning any necessary tasks that need to be completed via the Alice system (effort log)
Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
Standing/Walking: Constantly. Various surfaces including carpet, tile, and rubber mats.
Crouching (Bend at knees): Occasionally. Clean; stock supplies.
Stooping (Bend at waist): Occasionally. Write orders.
Twisting (knees, waist, neck): Frequently. Serve guests, maneuver through crowds and staff.
Balancing: Constantly. Carry trays and beverage containers. Set items on tables.
Reaching (overhead/extension): Constantly. Reach overhead supplies. Serve guests and retrieve hot/cold plates at arm's length extension.
Handling/grasping: Constantly. Set full plates and glasses at tables, carry trays and supplies.
Fingering/feeling: Frequently. Write orders, operate Micros machine, garnish plates, fold napkins, set table with silverware.
Pushing/Pulling: Occasionally. Average weight: 10 lbs. force. Maximum weight 20 lbs. force.
Lifting/Carrying: Constantly. Carry full trays of food and beverage; carry supplies. Average weight: 20 lbs. Maximum weight: 40 lbs.
Working Environment:
Interior and exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
Exposure to food items and beverages.
Qualifications Qualifications:
