The Data Software Engineer position will involve design, implementation, testing and launch of new applications for loading dealer data and generating analytical insights. The position requires a strong foundation in Big Data with knowledge of Python and SQL query language. The primary focus involves the migration of data landing and transformation jobs from Hadoop to Airflow (Astronomer) and BigQuery. The software engineer will work closely with IT team members and Business Owners to understand various business processes and apply this knowledge to design and implement solutions.

Skills Required:
- Python SQL
- 3 years' experience with ETL solutions
- 3 years' experience of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- 3 years' experience SQL/Oracle/Teradata
- Ability to lead and mentor associate engineers.
- Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
- Experience with Airflow (Astronomer).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with BigQuery
- B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in the requested field
