Cielo Talent is Hiring a Sales Account Manager - O&G IoT / digital products Near Midland, TX

The Sales Account Manager Role is required to generate opportunities, increase sales bookings and revenue by selling our client's O&G automation / digitalization products, solutions and services in key Oil & Gas regional markets in the United States.

  • Deliver bookings growth for high-value flow measurement products and systems, process automation, digital and LCS solutions and services on major infrastructure projects within the assigned territory in the USA. A Key Measure will be bookings growth.
  • Identify major project opportunities within the assigned region where there are opportunities for high-value products, solutions and services,
  • grow business and market position.
  • Qualify those projects with potential opportunities at an early enough stage (typically FEED or earlier) to ensure engagement at an early enough time to be specified.
  • Help develop and drive the NAM sales strategy through market quantification and development of business plans.
  • Lead the engagement process for the project by building relationships with key influencers in the region for these projects.
  • Undertake technical presentations of the product line to various levels in the client’s organization
  • Present white papers at measurement and technical schools
  • Manage the liaison with other Regional Sales Managers to ensure a cohesive strategy
  • Maintain project and opportunity tracking for the region (Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
  • Network with other divisions/groups to ensure the above is carried out effectively to maximize the opportunity.
  • Ensure that projects are handed over to the organization in a clean state reflecting contractual obligations.

Key Measures of success:

  • Bookings growth for products and solutions with assigned accounts.
  • Pipeline of project opportunities developed for the appropriate product lines (Funnel)
  • Account penetration through Approved Vendors Lists/ Bookings
  • Win- rate

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial distribution, electrical engineering, petroleum engineering or relevant Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • 6 years of experience in sales within the Oil &Gas industry.
  • Experience in technical, solution sales within Oil & Gas
  • Experience of selling concepts at a senior management level within organizations
  • Track record in the NAM Oil & Gas Market and well-connected within the Oil and Gas sector
  • Experience of the pursuit of project opportunities ranging in value from $4 - $10m

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Measurement, Automation, Digital Solutions, Lift Control sales and technical experience preferred.
  • Prior O&G engineering exp.
