TITLE: Ultrasound Sonographer
LOCATION: St. Louis, MO
SCHEDULE: Full-Time | Hours vary between 7am-5pm.
PAY: $50.00 - $60.00 Hour DOE
This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.
FLSA STATUS:Non - Exempt
SUMMARY: Position performs ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians for a Reproductive Medicine unit. The individual will perform a high volume of follicle scans, support IVF services and play an important role of the multidisciplinary IVF team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs ultrasound examinations per scanning protocols, correcting patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules.
- Assists physicians with procedures, providing sonographic guidance during process, obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs assisting physicians with patient support.
- Maintains documentation as required including patient files, performs data entry, and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes.
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Registered (A.R.D.M.S.) required with some experience in ultrasound preferred.
- BLS (required)
- Experience doing follicle scans (required)
