- Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Medical Support Assistant will scan all patient documents into the patient's Electronic Health Record (EHR), and
- Answer phones and take messages or transfer calls as needed.
- Assist as coverage for patient registration and assist patients with scheduling appointments and assisting the
- Assist the Supervisory Health Systems Specialist as needed for duties to be performed related back to the duties
- will be responsible for completing all charting is update as required.
- Medical Support Assistant day-to-day supervision will be provided by the Catawba Service Unit Supervisory Health

Requirementsmust possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Work Shift: The Medical Support Assistant will work five 8-hour days per week: Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hours will typically be 8:00am – 4:00pm with a 30-
minute unpaid lunch break. Services are required at 40 hours per week.
