adidas Group is Hiring a Manager Workplace Management - Spartanburg Distribution Center Near Spartanburg, SC

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE TO THE ORGANIZATION
Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the global real estate portfolio, including the leasing and transactions of all properties, all design, construction and operation of offices, showrooms and DC's for adidas. The Manager Workplace Management - DC is responsible for quality management and quality development as well as the coordination of Hard and Soft services at the adidas DC location in Spartanburg, SC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing smaller projects requiring analysis and initiative through professional knowledge/ experience
  • Planning, organizing and monitoring the assigned operational processes. Ensuring all service-related qualities, guidelines, standards and processes to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements.
  • Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments.
  • Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors.
  • Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol.
  • Internal and external communication (customers, service providers, suppliers).
  • Control, coordinate and manage all assigned services.
  • Development and optimization of external maintanance services.
  • Participation in the planning and design of new modifications facilities and its equipment (Management of Change process).
  • Controlling (monitoring budget control and supporting budget planning).
  • Execution and documentation of the work in accordance with the relevant regulations, building codes OSHA Compliance, NFPA, Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems.
  • Interface between adidas and the commissioned external service provider.
  • Manage, coach, develop and train team members, contribute to Performance reviews, provide feedback and allocate work taking into account complexity and experience level.
  • Ensuring the operator's responsibility and the employer's obligations in relation to occupational health and safety for the respective area of responsibility in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines and minimizing possible risks.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Capable of preparing and presenting facility / project updates to leadership
  • Service and customer orientation as well as Leadership experience
  • Experience in delivering projects
  • Good computer skills (especially MS Office products)
  • Very good knowledge of English. Spanish language a plus but not required
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Master degree, or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or Facility management.
  • Experience in construction management, Project work and technical building equipment.
  • More than 5 years of work experience in the respective area (maintenance and technical building equipment).
  • Knowledge/experience on ISO-14001 (Environmental System) & ISO-50001 (Energy System).
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent will be a plus but not required.

*We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote but the nature of this role requires the individual to be in the office more (4-5 days a week consistently). The working location of this position is Spartanburg, SC .
