Our client is an emerging Venture Capital firm looking to add a General Counsel to their department. Ideal candidates have extensive knowledge of a wide range of legal matters including venture capital investment structuring/financing, mergers and acquisitions and management of outside counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day legal support to the firm on a variety of legal matters, in addition to occasional support to the firm's portfolio companies
- Handle all aspects of contract review and negotiation
- Maintain a strong understanding of firm's legal and compliance requirements with company's mission in mind
Qualifications:
- 7 Years of Experience within corporate law, venture capital or related field
- Both In-House and Law Firm experience preferred, but will consider Big Law background
- Track record of leading legal teams
