**The Team**

The Auto Retail Marketing team is a dynamic and growing team in charge of expanding Upstarts automotive retail platform to thousands of automotive dealerships across the United States. We are excited to transform the car buying experience and make credit more affordable.

As a **Senior Demand Generation Lead** at Upstart, you will be reporting to the Head of Marketing for the Auto Retail division. This highly visible role will define and execute auto retail campaigns across various channels and will play a pivotal role in leading the growth of Auto Retail by creating, optimizing, and managing marketing campaigns that attract new qualified leads and convert them. You will be directly responsible for revenue growth by designing, executing, measuring, and optimizing multi-channel marketing programs that encourage more automotive dealerships to use Upstart. As part of the marketing team, youll work closely with sales, customer success and product development to identify revenue growth opportunities and build a scalable demand engine. This position will have 2 direct reports.

**Position Location -** This role is available in the following locations: Remote, Austin, TX, San Mateo, CA. (#LI-REMOTE)

**Time Zone Requirements -** This team operates on the West Coast time zone.

**Travel Requirements -** This team has regular on-site collaboration sessions. These occur 3 days per month at either the San Mateo or Austin office. If you need to travel to make these meetups, Upstart will cover all travel related expenses.

**How youll make an impact:**

* Build inbound lead generation programs using multiple channels including organic, paid search, paid social, display, email, direct mail, and events

* Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content, including offers

* Be a close partner to the SDR team to ensure quality lead delivery, proper follow up and incorporate feedback into marketing programs

* Forecast, track and report on marketing campaign performance including funnel conversion metrics

* Partner with internal and external creative and copywriting resources to design and develop content that drives engagement/action

* Ensure timely deployment of initiatives and project success by managing stakeholders, calendars, budget, timelines, and processes

* Work with sales to develop messaging, positioning and outreach tactics that engage prospects in new ways

* Develop account-based marketing programs for large scale accounts in effort to accelerate enterprise sales cycle

**What were looking for:**

* Minimum requirements:

A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience, MBA a plus

6 years of highly analytical experience in B2B acquisition, growth, or demand generation marketing

Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving revenue, conversion, sales, and other marketing goals

Ability to use metrics to manage programs and measure success

Proficiency with content creation, email marketing, and lead nurturing

Quantitative analytical experience and communication skills

Strong communication skills and can turn complex concepts into compelling messaging and campaigns

Comfortable communicating with cross-functional teams and leadership

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment

Experience partnering with SDRs and sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver marketing programs

* Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and/or Outreach

Prior experience in automotive dealership software or fintech

Experience with B2B demand generation at a fast growing tech company

Experience managing a high-performing demand generation team
