Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Package Handler to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of our print products from production to shipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, sort, and move products and materials manually or using material handling equipment.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
• Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a warehouse or as a package handler preferred.
• Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and handling bulky items.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic understanding of safety management and warehouse procedures.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms.
