The College of Education and Human Sciences (COEHS) seeks applicants for the Program Coordinator position to support the Institute for American Indian Education (IAIE). IAIE was originally created in 2014 and has expanded in size as well as developed varies projects, including: The Indigenous Education Curriculum Fair, the Indigenous Education Research Conference, Summits, Brown Bag Series, and professional development events.
IAIE's mission is to support community intergenerational well-being and educational outcomes of Indigenous Peoples by cultivating the quality of educational professionals through community engagement with Native Nations and collaborative partnerships with educational stakeholders. IAIE is funded via external grants and awards as well as RPSP funding.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
