WORK SCHEDULE
  • 40 hours per week, Day ShiftPOSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Primary point of contact for individuals entering a lobby in select buildings on the Harborview campus
  • The individual represents Harborview and UW Medicine in a manner that welcomes people and reflects a strong sense of excellence with regards to both the care that we provide and the experience that can be expected
  • Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are FirstPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor the lobby to ensure that patients, visitors, and staff are able to enter, navigate, and access areas as is intended
  • Respond to patient and visitor requests and provide directions to specified areas such as clinics, meeting rooms, eating facilities, and other buildings
  • Communicate information on hospital programs to patients, visitors and staff
  • Respond to questions and concerns about parking; assist with payments, navigating garages, side streets and the Harborview campus
  • Triage telephone calls and requests for information
  • Support communication strategies such as distributing flyers and announcements; work in coordination with Security Services, Parking and Commuter Services, the Safety Officer, and other related departments
  • Assigned building may vary; provide relief to similar position(s)REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR equivalent education/experienceABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER:
