The Customer Liaison (Laboratory Services) Supervisor will act as the liaison between internal/external customers for resolution of laboratory services related issues. This position will is responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive excellent service and provide service recovery as needed. Additionally, this individual is responsible to collaborate with internal departmental leaders to ensure the day-to-day operation is effective and efficient, including manage customer service, performance improvement, and maintaining intra and interdepartmental communication.
Minimum Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree a plus
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
* Two (2) - Five (5) experience in an acute care setting, specifically in clinical laboratory
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Experience using computer software and database programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
* Strong and proven typing and data entry skills with focus on accuracy and timeliness.
* Well organized with special attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data in a confidential manner.
* Willingness and ability to assist and support in daily departmental duties.
Required License/Certification:
* Current California Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
* LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no certification upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
