The University of Notre Dame () is accepting applications for a Student Affairs Associate temporary, on-call position.
Applications will be accepted until 02/23/2024.
This is a temporary/on-call position position primarily contributing to ongoing projects and initiatives within the Office of Student Affairs.
Guided by the University's Catholic, Holy Cross mission, the Division of Student Affairs promotes the holistic education of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students so that all may flourish at the University of Notre Dame and beyond. Through this shared work, services, and partnerships, Student Affairs seeks to honor individual experiences and foster a sense of belonging; deepen engagement in faith; and cultivate meaningful relationships that empower students and enable them to develop in mind, body, and spirit.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations for Student Affairs, the Student Affairs Associate will work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations and other staff members with the Office of the Vice President to support an array of projects and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Drafting summaries and narratives for annual stewardship and endowment reporting
  • Contributing to ongoing projects and processes that advance the work of Student Affairs
  • Analyzing survey information, drafting proposals and coordinating strategic initiatives
  • Please note: This is a temporary/on-call position that is not eligible for any University benefits. The position will require approximately 10 hours a week, with a flexible schedule, through June 2024, with the possibility to continue after June. A review of candidates will begin immediately.Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
    • Previous experience in developing surveys, reports and other project management initiatives
    • Outstanding interpersonal, project management and strategic vision experiences
    • Ability to think organizationally, conceptually, and strategically
    • Demonstrated ability to work with very limited supervision
    • Proficiency in technology and tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
    • Understanding and support of the Student Affairs and University's mission
