The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Suffolk University is recruiting a full-time
Visiting Assistant Professor (
non-tenure track (NTT)
for a one-year
position
with the possibility of renewal.
Teaching responsibilities will begin in the fall semester.
The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. sociology, criminology, criminal justice, public policy, public administration)
; preference will be given for candidates with
experience teaching courses in
sociology or
criminal justice
at the college/university level
.
A

in both our Master of Science in Crime and Justice Studies program and our undergraduate
major programs in
