SUMMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Reporting to the Assistant Director for Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership (SAIL), the Coordinator for Leadership, Evening & Weekend Programs coordinates all student-related evening and weekend activities and functions in support of the personal growth and development of all students. As a highly valued campus partner, the coordinator continues the tradition of providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for all students. Responsibilities include evening and weekend activities, events and programs, budget management, student advising, and policy development. This role involves a close partnership with the Assistant Director of SAIL, focusing on collaborating with the campus community to offer leadership development opportunities to students, club sports and student organizations. Follows the University's best practices to build and/or support student academic success and retention and assist in meeting strategic objectives for persistence and timely graduation of all the student population.
EXAMPLES OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree in a closely related field (Psychology, Education, student development, educational leadership, or counseling and personnel service) is required.
EXPERIENCE: One-year full-time or two academic years part-time campus programming experience in a student union/campus center or student activities-related position required.
OTHER : Commitment to working beyond the typical workweek is essential. This role often requires evening and weekend hours, dictated by job demands. Any hours exceeding the standard 37.5 hours per week will be compensated per the ESU bargaining unit contract.

Salary : $57,791 - $74,000
