Job Description Under moderate supervision, the Surgical Technologist is a multi-skilled individual who demonstrates knowledge and proficient practice in most surgical subspecialties. Participates in a wide variety of clinical tasks/procedures for the patient as a member of the patient care team. Provides any basic patient care duties and participates in tasks to assist with the progression of the patients plan of care. Patients served include infant through adult-older adult. Reporting Relationships Reports to RN for specific patient related duties. Overall supervision from manager of patient care unit. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Training Program required. One (1) year of previous directly applicable surgical technologist experience required. BLS required.
