This is for an Emergency Department Night Shift Assistant Manager Position


Unit Description:

Welcome to Medstar Franklin Square, a Magnet designated hospital. Medstar Franklin Square Emergency Department is a 56 bed department, with 7 fast track beds, and a Stroke Resuscitation team. Medstar Franklin Square is also a STEMI receiving and Primary Stroke Center. The Emergency Department see’s approximately 70,000 patients a year and serves a diverse patient population. The Assistant Manager supports and collaborates with the Director of Nursing in providing leadership and oversight for the Emergency Department. This position is 40 hours a week with the option to work 4 10-hourshifts or 5 8-hour shifts. Must have Maryland or compact state nursing license, bachelor's in nursing, and at least 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
