Pay Range: $19.00 per hour or higher commensurate with experience.

Full/Part Time: Part Time
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing administrative, logistical, and fiscal support functions for a federal TRIO program.
Duties may include:
  • Maintain project budgets and fiscal operations
  • Maintain participant and project records
  • Provide administrative, fiscal and logistical support to program director and outreach staff
  • Utilize University programs to create and submit financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
  • Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
  • Office support functions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services
    • Managing competing priorities and deadlines
    • Working with minors
    • Navigating and applying relevant policies and procedures
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and student staff
