About the College/Unit/Department | The SCC is a unit of the Department of Statistics as well as a core unit of the UGA Office of Research. The mission of the SCC is threefold: to provide collaborative research assistance at UGA; to increase the quality of research performed at the University; and to provide education and training to graduate students in the Department. The SCC consists of a faculty Director, an Associate Director, at least five supported Consulting Assistants, and several Volunteer Consulting Assistants. Georgia is well known for its quality of life in regard to both outdoor and urban activities ( exploregeorgia.org ).
