This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Position Purpose

Assist the Chief Flight Instructor with tasks delegated by the Chief Flight Instructor. Conduct evaluation, stage, and end of course checks for students in flight courses. Provide flight, simulator, and ground instruction in accordance with UCM and FAA regulations and procedures. Prepare schedules, maintain records, and ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student in each flight course.
Education & Formal Training

High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)
Other Education & Formal Training

Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Safety or related field preferred.
FAA Certified Flight Instructor required
Computer Skills

Spreadsheet, Other - Scheduling and Flight Tracking Software, Presentation
Experience

To be eligible for the position, applicant must meet the requirements of 14 CFR 141.36.
Other Experience
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position:

Criminal History check, Subject to random drug testing, Driver's license

FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate, CFII required, and MEI preferred
