The Global Information Security (GIS) group provides services and solutions to protect the value and use of Disney's information through risk evaluation, collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across the enterprise. We protect the brand and reputation while enabling and supporting business objectives. GIS teams are located in Seattle, Burbank, and Orlando.
In order to ensure that our services keep TWDC secure, we follow an ongoing, iterative process, including continued reevaluation of our services over time to address emerging threats as well as changes in business and technology. This process includes:

• Analysis of known and emerging threats to determine risks against TWDC assets
• Creation, maintenance, governance and communication of security policies and standards across TWDC
• Assessment and audit of compliance against the security policies and standards
• Assurance that TWDC assets are effectively managed and monitored to meet TWDC security criteria

We are looking to add people to our team who are focused on delivery, prioritize data-driven decisions over opinions, are continuous learners, passionate about information security and love their work.
Responsibilities:

• Drive multiple information security projects across the Corporate segment by working directly with stakeholders.
• Assist stakeholders in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
• Promote awareness of information security policies and standards, and related guidance.
• Act as liaison between GIS and business technology teams; develop and maintain strong positive relationships with customer, technical, and security contacts

• Understand cybersecurity impact in the organization and how to apply cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements
• Assist customers in identifying process and control improvement opportunities; work with customers to develop improvement plans
• Use metrics and measures to regularly monitor progress, drive escalations, and identify priority areas of focus
• Develop and maintain management updates, dashboards, and metrics to communicate status/progress

Experience Required:

• BA/BS in appropriate field of study including computer science, cybersecurity, or information systems; or relevant work experience
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Extensive technology project management specialty
• Strong communication and relationship
• Agile/Scrum training
• Self-starter and comfortable asking for guidance when needed
• Able to work independently once deliverables have been agreed upon
• View challenges as opportunities
• Able to problem solve and perform necessary research to identify several options / solutions
• Undertake assigned tasks willingly
• Able to switch from complex to routine tasks when required
• Eager to research and understand new technologies and products
• Able to work effectively with a variety of personalities and work styles

• Able to apply published methodologies and enforce program standards
• Must have clear and concise business writing and communication skills

• Able to proactively provide status and concerns that may impact the execution of assigned project and / or tasks
• Attention to detail

This is an estimated 30-month project hire placement with no guarantee of permanent placement.
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $107,256 to $143,880 per year and in Burbank, CA is $112,586 to $151,030 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
