Department: Recruitment Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Public Information Coordinator will work specifically with the Office of Recruitment within the Division of Enrollment Management. This person is responsible for overseeing public relations activities such as preview days, campus tours and other on campus visits, assist with recruitment calendar and share with other departments, work with department liaisons, work with our marketing firm to assure that university branding is maintained, coordinate and implement various recruitment programs and preview days such as ARKACRAO, College Planning, College Board, etc. supervise and train work-study students to promote the university and develop and administer educational and informational programs related to the history of our university. This person will also complete other job duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy. Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, business, communications, or a related field; plus, two years of experience in public relations, journalism, communications, or a related field. Other job-related education and/or experiences may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the review committee. Additionally, the ability to effectively and skillfully communicate verbally and in writing is required.
