Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.Educates and protects all customers entering the vascular suite.Assists with all invasive procedures performed in the vascular suite.Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients.Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.Assists with quality assurance processes.Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service.Balances team and individual responsibilities, objective and open to others views, gives and welcomes feedback, contributes to positive team goals, puts success of team above own interest.Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.Integrates and demonstrates FOCUS values and Expectations for Personal and Service Excellence to guide professional behaviors, while adhering to the policies and procedures of UPH-DM. Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certified. Must have current permit issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Vascular/interventional experience preferred.
