Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.PRN opportunity with an established hospital medicine program serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communitiesCohesive group of experienced colleagues and supportive staffSpecialists include: Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Nephrology, Intensivist, GI, Emergency Medicine, Podiatry, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Psychiatry, Tele-ID, Palliative Care, etc.Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordinationResponsibilities:Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years and older; 10-12 patients seen per shiftEvaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient careCovering vacations and PTO requests as needed12-hour shifts; 7a 7p on weekdays and 7a-5p on weekendsNo night shifts, no procedures and no codesPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skillsOutstanding work/life balance with flexible schedulingQualifications:Acute care trained NP or NP with Hospital Medicine and/or Critical Care experienceAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of IowaHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the NP's field of practiceEligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)Community DetailsFort Dodge, known for its Midwest charm and family values, is a great place to live, work and raise a family.
