Under the direction of the Clinic Administrator or Director of Clinic Operations, this position is responsible for day-to-day operations of Meriter Medical Clinic site or component of clinic operations. This position focuses on promoting excellent patient care, customer service and clinical outcomes. This position works with staff to plan, develop, and implement changes to existing operational and clinical care processes to meet current and future clinic services needs. The position is accountable for supervising, coordinating, and planning patient care functions, which include assuring high quality of patient care and satisfaction standards are achieved and adherence to medical practice standards and proficiency. This position is also responsible for managing daily functions, promoting continuous quality improvement, and fostering a team environment to meet the patient care and financial needs of the clinic to ensure ongoing growth and clinical success. Registered Nurse or other health care training experience.
Knowledge of clinic operations
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated problem resolution skills.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
Current CPR certification
Day-to-day operation of ambulatory clinic setting
Understands the nursing process and can apply to patient care, optimizing patient outcomes
Understands and supervises delegated tasks to unlicensed personnel
Enjoys working with variety of patient ages and conditions/diagnosis
Excellent organizational, internal and external service excellence skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present oneself as a professional
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment with multiple priorities
Ability to work well independently and within teams
Ability to prioritize work in an efficient manner
Ability to recognize and respond to urgent needs in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or health care administration.
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Knowledge of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) System
Experience with process improvement efforts/project management.
Budget management experience
Experience with UPH/UPC system
Knowledge of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) System
Prior knowledge/experience working with regulatory standards (e.g. CMS, Joint Commission)
