You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business / technical requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
  • Work with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure full understanding of requirements and design
  • Act as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups
  • Lead and mentor other Systems Analysts
  • Work with all levels of the business, ensuring IT deliverables align with business requirements

You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of experience conducting and facilitating requirements gathering in a technical setting and performing business systems analysis or equivalent business process analysis
  • 4 years of decomposing business requirements into features and user stories; and writing technical documentation to support solution delivery including business process improvement and workflow diagrams, business process and system integration models, and technical specifications
  • 2 years of experience working in Agile / SCRUM environment
  • Experience conducting analysis for systems integration programs or data analysis
  • Experience working within the SDLC in large complex programs
  • Experience leading/mentoring other individuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success consulting with multiple levels of stakeholders on complex technical problems

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York City residents is $67,800 to $133,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
