**Primary Responsibilities:**

Prepare patients for examination

Take patient assessment, medical history, and visual acuity

Performing diagnostic tests involving the eyes and vision

Administering Eye Drops

Maintain and stock all exam rooms

Clean and maintain all instruments

Collect and calculate diagnostic data: K readings, refraction, visual fields

Assist physician in minor office procedures

Assist patients in obtaining prior authorizations for all procedures and medications

Return and answer patient phone calls

Preparing patients' charts for visit

**Required Qualifications:**

High school education or equivalent experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Ophthalmology clinical office experience

Clinical medical assistant experience

**New York Residents Only:** The hourly range for this role is $19.47 to $38.08 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
