Women's Health CT is currently seeking a full time, Medical Receptionist for Danbury Midwifery Group in Danbury, CT!

Position: Medical Receptionist
Location: Danbury Midwifery Group
Address: 94 Locust Ave. Danbury, CT 06810
Employment: Full-time (40hrs)
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 10:00a- 7:00p

Position Summary: The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting and interacting with patients at the front desk of the Birthing Center, Danbury Midwifery Group. This position will support the second shift from 10:00a- 7:00p and requires the language capabilities to communicate in both Spanish and English fluently. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a great team of clinicians, supporting Women's Health!

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet all patients and visitors.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Register patients and verify insurance eligibility.
  • Collect payments through various software systems.
  • Utilize phone system, fax machine, printer, copier, and scanner for all office functions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office appearance.
  • Other general administrative office duties.

Skills/qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, is required.
  • Previous Medical Front Desk/Receptionist experience, is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft applications.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting and EMR system experience, is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
