UNITED SOLUTIONS INC is Hiring a Network Engineer Near Tallahassee, FL

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary function of this position is to assist the company in being the leading provider of high quality information, knowledge, and professional solutions. Provide exceptional service to all internal, external and potential clients and meet the company’s Service Promises and Standards. To safeguard member information and the client’s vital records in a manner commensurate with the sensitivity of the information and in compliance with laws, regulations and the company’s information security policies, standards and procedures.

Responsible For : development, implementation and compliance of internal standards and controllers for routers, switches and firewalls, including software and hardware inventories, software library, installation records, user procedures and, policies manual, and LT control policies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a professional, diplomatic, and courteous attitude with staff, clients, and business contacts.
Maintain knowledge of the company’s philosophy, rules, and policies, appropriately reflecting these in all activities and interactions with co-workers, clients, and the public to ensure confidentiality.
Back up administration of Exchange.
Troubleshooting expertise in areas of networks, servers, PCs, printers, peripheral hardware products, and PC operating systems.
Assistance to internal and external clients with goal of creating service excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned and support alls areas of the company and its affiliates.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Exceptional interpersonal skills. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in additional to normal courtesy and tact.
Ability to maintain the integrity and confidentiality for the system and position.
Satisfactory performance of each essential duty.
Self-motivated interest in position.
Ability to quickly assimilate and take advantage of new technologies.
In-depth understanding of PCs, networks, protocols and system administration.
Ability to plan and implement all aspects of a significant hardware and/or software roll out for the desktop.
Ability to prepare and verify a comprehensive test plan and validate its successful implementation.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Proven problem solving, conflict resolution and time management.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Equivalent to a two (2) year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study as a technical or trade school. Three (3) years of similar or related professional experience with Cisco Switches, Routers and Firewalls (CCNA/CCNF, MS Server (Microsoft Certied Systems Engineer.)

Valid Drivers License

Required to annually travel an average of 20%.
Some evening, weekend and holiday hours required.
Private and/or dependable transportation within 150 miles of base location.

Must be bondable
