We are looking for Primary Therapist for our Day/Night Treatment Program and Intensive Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center. Our program specializes in treating a wide variety of addictions. We have a FULL-TIME position available for a growing substance abuse treatment program. 3 years minimum experience is necessary. CAP and/or LCSW/LMHC preferred; but not required. Therapist is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the attending Clinical Director/Program Director. Will be responsible for conducting groups and will work in collaboration with the Treatment Team.
3-5 years experience in a substance abuse and mental health field is necessary.
Masters degree required; CAP preferred. Job expectations include facilitating group therapy session, completing biopsychosocial assessments, master treatment plans, ASAM's, treatment plan reviews, individual therapy sessions, and other duties as assigned.

- Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients to assess and address substance abuse issues
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to provide support and education to clients
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavior change and promote recovery
- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients with co-occurring disorders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Stay current on best practices in substance abuse treatment and attend relevant training and professional development opportunities
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in substance abuse counseling or related field
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use disorders
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders, such as PTSD or depression
- Familiarity with ICD-10 diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders and mental health conditions
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress
- Skilled in providing individual, group, and family counseling services
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Experience in crisis management and intervention
Skills:

- PTSD care and trauma-informed approaches to counseling
- Mental health counseling for co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of ICD-10 diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders and mental health conditions

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
