United Homecare Services- Beaverton is Hiring a Caregiver Near Beaverton, OR

We are seeking out another team member for our amazing long-term client! Our female client living in Beaverton is in need of a new team member to help with over-night shifts and short dinner shifts. Over nights are 10:30pm-6:30am and dinner shifts are 5pm-7:30pm. Client has MS and uses a ceiling track lift to get around her home. 

Care needs include:

-Dressing/ grooming

- Meal prepping, plating and heating meals 

- Toileting 

-Transfers using ceiling track lift

Responsibilities

  • Assist the client with activities of daily living
  • Provide personal care services including bathing and toileting assistance, transfers, mobility, dressing and grooming
  • Perform light housekeeping and do laundry to help maintain comfortable and healthy living conditions
  • Provide companionship services to reduce senior isolation
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Plan, prepare and serve meals
  • Complete client’s shopping or accompany the client to do so successfully
  • Transport client to and from appointments
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

  • Enjoy making a difference in another's life
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Take pride in providing high quality care
  • Hoyer lift experience
