Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent dental school graduates to gain hands-on experience and further develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Duties:
As a resident in our program, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages
- Conducting patient assessments, including medical history review and treatment planning
- Practicing strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Assisting in the management of a busy dental office, including scheduling appointments and coordinating treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical documentation
- Collaborating with faculty members and fellow residents to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Continuously expanding your understanding of dental anatomy, techniques, and advancements in the field
Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with dental software systems
- Strong patient assessment abilities, including the ability to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Ability to effectively manage a dental office environment, including scheduling and treatment coordination
- Excellent attention to detail when documenting medical information
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and its relationship to oral health
