**WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A FRONT WAITER/SERVER**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A FRONT WAITER/SERVER**

* Greets new parties and cordially welcomes guest to the restaurant

* Informs the guest of delicious menu choices and makes suggestions

* Relay orders to bar and kitchen using point-of-system (POS)

* Anticipates the guest needs and responds appropriately

* Establishes a friendly professional rapport with the guest

* Busses table when meal is completed and prepares the table for the next course

* Totals and presents bill, accepts payment, cashes out the check and makes change

* Problem solves guest needs with courtesy, dignity and respect

* Extends closing greetings to guest as they leave thanking them for their patronage
