 Jockey is seeking an Associate Merchandise Planner to join our team and assist in driving profitable sales and margin. In this role, you will have an opportunity to own the development of the merchandise strategy while collaborating with our buying and merchandising teams to create and drive sales and demand plans for our in-store retail offerings. This role is based in our corporate office in #Kenosha WI (between #Milwaukee WI and #Chicago IL). Essential Functions:

• Serve as a business partner to the buyers and other cross functional team members to analyze, plan, forecast, and evaluate financial data to support and implement profitable merchandise strategies.
• Have an opportunity to cultivate new and engaging ways to display and sell Jockey products.
• Run open to buy within managed categories of product, identifying opportunities and developing strategies to support financial targets.
• Assist with store inventory analytics and KPI’s to maximize sales opportunities.
• Create demand plans within managed categories that support financial targets.
• Monitor sales, identify customer trends, predict customer demand, order merchandise, and analyze sales reports.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business, or a related field.
• Experience within retail either from a corporate merchandising, buying or similar environment.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ability to carry out data analytics functions, in addition to sorting, charting, and formatting.
• Demonstrated skill at negotiation and collaboration.
• Tableau experience is a plus.
• Possess the ability to explain technical merchandise planning information to internal teams by using numbers to tell stories and persuade others to take action outside of the merchandise planning team.
