Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the VP of Engineering and be responsible for:

• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of aerospace components.
• Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to analyze problems, provide technical solutions and reduce waste.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase productivity.
• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes, including process validation and qualification activities.

Profile

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry
• Sound troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean and six sigma tools (greenbelt preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-collaborative teams
