DescriptionThe Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist to join the UCLA Hispanic Neuropsychiatric Center of Excellence that is part of the DMH UCLA Public Partnership for Wellbeing. This partnership is designed to strengthen communities and improve the wellbeing of Los Angeles County residents and greater society by providing a holistic foundation for address inequities and advancing wellbeing's for all. Primary duties include: * Performing neuropsychological and psychological assessments* Conducting clinical interviews* Preparing reports and other documents on patient status* Training externs and fellows* Developing appropriate training materials * Collaborating with team in completing needs assessmentsPlease note: we have two openings for this positionSalary: $58.36/hr - $76.99/hr
QualificationsPhD or PsyD in Clinical PsychologyValid CA Psychology LicenseKnowledge and training in a variety of psychological assessment measuresMinimum 1 year of experience training and supervising predoc and/or postdoc traineesMinimum 2 years of clinical and/or scientific expertise with adult populations (preferred)Experience working with multi-cultural populationsExcellent oral and written communicate skills, including the ability to write and edit reportsDemonstrated ability to protect patient confidentiality to comply with all HIPAA, JCAHO, CMS and regulatory policies, procedures, and requirements
