As a Quality Laboratory Technician you will:

• Conduct tests to measure the dimensions of plastic parts using tools such as callipers, height gauges, and other custom-made equipment.
• Operate equipment like the Instron force tester to determine the resistance between moving plastic parts and a weight drop tester to assess the impact resistance of the plastic material.
• Record test results using basic Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) on the lab computer or laptop.
• Perform physical tasks related to lab organization, including moving boxes, labelling, & arranging plastic part samples, and maintaining the workspace.
• Occasionally travel to our Valencia, CA location (15 minutes away) to conduct real-world functional tests with sealant-loaded cartridges. PPE will be provided.
• Duration and Opportunities: The position is temporary, lasting up to 6 months, with the potential to become a full-time role. A college degree is not required, but a high school diploma is necessary.
• Training and Supervision: The selected candidate will receive training and be supervised by an experienced team member. There may be several hours of independent work in the lab.
