Internal Traveler - Ortho Neuro Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full Time, Nights. 36 hours a week.# # Pay range is between $70-$80/hr. Boulder Community health is seeking an Internal Traveler for Ortho Neuro who functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit#s care delivery system. # Contracts are 13 weeks. Benefits include: Paid sick time 403B Retirement Program Wellness Benefits Discounts through PerkSpot Qualifications# #Colorado RN license in good standing. #BLS required. #ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads. #ONC certification preferred. #NIHSS certification required# #One to two years RN clinical nursing experience preferred Responsibilities #Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed. #Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills. #Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. #Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition. #Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care. #Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation. #Practices universal precautions appropriately. #May be required to perform point of care testing. #May be a point of care trainer. #It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department. #Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards. # About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, Colorado Boulder Community Health#s vision is partnering to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation.
