Stites & Harbison, PLLC, a full-service law firm that maintains a sophisticated national construction practice, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with at least two years of experience interested in joining our Construction Service Group team. With a strong emphasis on transactional work, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional legal services to our clients in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience or an interest in construction law to advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment. The associate will primarily work with a group based in the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office.
The position involves contract negotiations and related transactional work could also include some litigation opportunities, depending on the firm’s needs and applicant’s interest. Interested candidates should possess a strong academic background and have excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. A background in engineering, architecture, or the construction industry is not required but will be considered (if applicable). Responsibilities include:
