Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a variety of duties relating to the processing of international banking products, services and related functions consistent with applicable regulations, policies and procedures. Products and services include import, export and stand-by letters of credit, foreign exchange settlement, collection, credit, foreign currency drafts, foreign remittances, banks acceptances, offshore lending and investment activities, etc. Communicates verbally and in writing with all parties concerned to resolve discrepancies and/or to obtain necessary approvals. Prepares payment and settlement schedules and disbursements. Ensures that all operational arrangements are in place for proper servicing.

REQUIRED

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Four or more years of relevant work experience

PREFERRED

* Thorough knowledge of specific international banking products, services and general bank operating policies and procedures

* Effective critical thinking, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

* Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Well-developed ability to integrate knowledge, anticipate outcomes and use personal judgment

* International business technical, trade, or business school certificate preferred

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $23.46 - $31.25 - $34.38
