Express Employment Professionals are seeking a CNC Machinist for 1st shift for one of our clients in Chaska, MN. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The Machinist will work with a range of materials, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure that the finished products meet the required specifications.  Looking for 5 years experience!!!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Running a Fanuc machine
• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials based on job requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify conformance of workpieces to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure they operate efficiently and produce high-quality output.

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS diploma/GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in the machining process.
• Knowledge of lifting techniques and machine rigging.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
